King Arthur by D. C. Eyles
They’ll die or leave you, either way.
Thank you so much for this message!!! :D I’m sorry for such late reply, I was on a little unexpected hiatus and I only read it now, but it made me smile so much <3 I’ve been following you for some time and I love your blog, and the fact that you love ArMor so I got really excited when I saw that you followed me back (yay!!!) My tag about them isn’t as wonderful as yours, but I reblog them as often as I can, since there’s not many people still liking this pairing. And you’re too kind to me, thank you for the lovely words :D <3
Awww! YOU’RE WELCOME, HUN!!! :DDD I’m so glad I’ve found you and you’re amazing blog! ;) Thanks so much for the follow and the compliment! I wanna give it right back to you. :D From one ArMor-shipper to the other: LY!!! :DDD

There’s a place for us,
Somewhere a place for us.
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us somewhere.
I did not live until today
How can I live when we are parted?
Tomorrow you’ll be worlds away
And yet, with you, my world has started
requested by my muse (jen/woodcomb)
“You found me.”
Her tone expressed a myriad of emotions, and as Arthur shoved his hands into the pockets of his sport jacket, he attempted (and failed, as always) to pinpoint what he believed they were, exactly. She seemed impressed. Proud of him. Surprised, even. Most importantly, she seemed pleased.
He always wanted to please her.
“After a millennium of searching,” he finally says, steadily holding her gaze. “Was it necessary to put me through all that, for so long?”
Morgana bites her lip then, tugging at the sleeves of her black sweater to cover her shaking hands. “There was much we were both destined to achieve, Arthur,” she replies, vague and cryptic as always. “We were meant to achieve them apart. You and I were forever linked, yes… but we had to be apart. Otherwise, none of this would have happened.”
She gestures around them - hundreds of people milling around and going about their business, visiting the Tower of London, taking photos, buying souvenirs. Unbeknownst to them all, two of the greatest figures in all of history stand there at the riverbank, just watching.
Across the Tower Bridge, Arthur sees the rest of the City of London in all its splendour - certainly nothing he or even Merlin could have imagined before could have prepared him for what he saw now. All glass and steel and modernity, chipping away at the stone history of the city - of his own personal memories. Arthur understands. None of this would have come to be if they had not gone their separate ways.
“All’s well and good now, though,” he decides to say, and he reaches for her hand, though he doesn’t dare look at her face. “They don’t need us anymore. They have their stories and their legends.”
Morgana nods, and she entwines their fingers together. “We’ve done our part,” she replies, gently squeezing his hand. “I knew you would never stop searching for me.”
“Because I’m still as headstrong and determined and stubborn as ever,” Arthur chuckles, finally turning and finding her looking up at him. Her pale green eyes glint gold in the sunset, and for a rare moment, Arthur finds himself rendered speechless.
“Because you love me more than anything,” she replies, and he can tell she believes her words with every fibre of her being.
“There’s that, too.”
Arthur leans in to kiss her then, and he immediately recalls the feel of her lips against his, the warmth of her exhale against his skin, the scent of her hair. She tastes like home, and he is content.
The world around them might continue to grow, to change, but Arthur and Morgana remain constant. For always.
